This time we're going to dive deeper into two hot topics. We start the evening with a presentation by Matthieu de Graaf (Transfer Solutions) who will guide us on his path to the holy grail for testing. After a short break, we will listen to Remco Dekkinga (Evergreen IT), who will explain what database concurrency is and discuss the benefits and pitfalls of the different implementations.

This time we're going to dive deeper into two hot topics.
1. The holy grail for testing
The holy grail for testing is a set of automated tests which covers all code. In reality, this is quite hard to achieve completely. In this session, we discuss a practical approach to (automatic) testing. First, we look at which parts of the system should be tested and subsequently to which degree. We distinguish several degrees of more or less automated tests.
In our approach, we bring the worlds of manual testing and automatic testing together. Manual tests can be promoted to automatic tests and automatic tests can be done manually.
During this session, we focus on two testing pitfalls, the creation of test sets and the identification of objects on a web page for automatic tests.

2. Database Concurrency, What is it and Why should I know about it?
Have you never heard of Database Concurrency or maybe you have heard about it and thought that OutSystems would handle it for you? Or are you the one who found a solution that fits all purposes?
In this session, Remco will explain what concurrency is and show you several different ways to implement it and what the benefits of each implementation are.
