Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a security system that requires two separate forms of identification to access something. During this session, we will understand how to implement 2FA in an OutSystems application. The first factor is a password and the second would be a text/OTP sent to your smartphone, or e-mail.

About this event
In the session, we're enhancing our authentication process. Alongside the usual username-password setup, we're introducing an extra security measure. Now, users will need an OTP or secret code, sent via email or SMS, to access the app. To make this happen, we'll be utilizing the Twilio connector. The Twilio connector enables your OutSystems applications to utilize Twilio's API for sending messages and making voice calls.

Implementing Two-Factor Authentication in an OutSystems App
