The scenarios where the pattern reuse approach is most beneficial is when we need to obtain data from external systems. To be able to go into greater detail on this topic, two sub-concepts of the data concept must be differentiated: summary data and detail data.

With these definitions, it is necessary to understand certain rules that will dictate the type of approach to follow.

Can existing data be duplicated in another system? Is the service providing the data fast enough for a direct integration approach? Is it necessary to mix data from external systems with data in OutSystems?
