Topics in Session
Session 1: PWA - Make Your WebApp Rich without going Native
Led by Antonio Barroso, TrueWind Global
Looking for a way to develop an application to run in a desktop computer, mobile device, or even in a windows tablet, with offline capabilities and background sync? PWA is the way! This session is about why we went for a PWA in a Surveyor application use case, that is required to work on Windows devices. What were the challenges of the project, the solutions for each one, and the advantages that PWA brings to the table? The other two topics I will address are:
• How to prepare a mobile application to support PWA and native
• How to integrate multiple service workers to enable push notifications in a PWA app (One Signal integration).
Session 2: Cashing with Caching - 25 minutes with 5 Minutes Q/A
Led by João Marques, Freelancer OutSystems MVP & Tech Lead
Is your app slow? Is your database hanging and freezing on on-peak hours? Learn how to leverage caching to make your OutSystems applications perform better than ever and to protect your back end against heavy-traffic load.
