Migrating from OutSystems 11 (O11) to OutSystems Development Cloud (ODC) is an essential task as organizations shift their applications to the cloud to leverage better scalability, agility, and integration features. This migration process involves updating the development environment, infrastructure, and potentially adapting applications for the cloud-specific features and services.
In our last user group session we discussed in detail the architecture fundamentals revolving around Disclose, Organize and Assemble principles. Then we learnt how to prepare our O11 application architecture to migrate from O11 to ODC. We also briefly touched upon the mapping of domains from O11 to ODC architecture.
In this session we will dive a little more into mapping of domains. Then, let's focus on migration patterns. As you plan and prepare your existing O11 app architecture to migrate late to ODC, you must refactor and adjust your O11 implementation for an efficient migration process. We will look at different migration patterns which covers most of the development areas a developer frequently works upon in one or the other application.
