Event-driven architecture (EDA) promotes app independence, with each component having minimal dependencies. EDA enhances team autonomy by enabling the development of apps with loosely coupled dependencies. OutSystems supports event-driven development and can fundamentally act as an event source. Events are now generally available to be created and consumed between OutSystems applications. This enables efficient, real-time data processing with exceptional scalability and productivity. Users can automate high-volume, repetitive IT processes, responding swiftly to changes in the application portfolio or external systems.
In this session we are going to cover:
1. Understand what is event driven architecture.
2. Why do we need EDA?
3. Discuss different use cases for EDA.
4. Understand at high level how EDA works.
