Writing BDD tests in OutSystems becomes difficult when your logic calls external APIs, since their real behavior is unpredictable and hard to control. OutMock solves this by acting as a programmable reverse-proxy mock: during BDD tests you can define exactly how external APIs respond, including edge cases, without touching real systems. Outside testing, it simply forwards calls to the real API.

In this talk, Steven Decock will show how OutMock integrates with the BDD Framework, how to script mocks dynamically, and how it makes automated tests faster, safer, and fully deterministic.
